Welcome to Fortune Port Corporation
The Fortune Port is located in the town of Fortune which is located on the western side of the Burin Peninsula near the southern boundary of Fortune Bay on the island of Newfoundland and Labrador.
The Fortune Port is the nearest Canadian Port with a designated Canada Border Services Agency for international vessel traffic on a year-round basis. As well as the operation of the passenger ferry terminal for tourist travelling to St. Pierre et Miquelon.
The Fortune Port Corporation has the responsibility of providing management and safe operations of an international port for travel to the French islands of St. Pierre et Miquelon.
Throughout the summer season Mid-June to Mid-September 1 of 2 ferries arrive daily. For the remainder of the year the ferry will arrive 3 times a week.
